Comfort Measures for Labor provides women and their partners with hands on techniques to help relieve some of the discomforts of labor and birth. Participants will learn about the stages of labor, position changes, massage techniques, and relaxation exercises to help laboring women work with the normal physiologic process of childbirth. Techniques can be adapted for all pain management plans so that both the laboring mother and partner can feel prepared for their upcoming birth.
