Eastern Rehabilitation Network (ERN), a department of Hartford Hospital, is one of the largest rehab providers in the state with over 400 employees. With a medical director who is a physiatrist (doctor of physical medicine and rehabilitation) and a clinical team of physical, occupational and speech therapists and athletic trainers, ERN has the resources to treat the entire spectrum of diagnoses across the continuum. Many members of the clinical staff hold advanced degrees and/or certifications.

All disciplines have Master's-prepared clinicians and many physical therapists hold doctoral degrees; there are six orthopedic clinical specialists, eight certified hand therapists, nine McKenzi- certified therapists, two geriatric clinical specialist and three lymphedema certified therapists.
